Sensor Simulation

Series 4010

The Series 4010 was developed for the simulation of incremental encoders with 24 V signals, 5 V differential signals as well as absolute encoders with SSI interface. Additionally, an integrated frequency generator enables the test of counter inputs with a 24 V voltage range. The Modules are available in a PXI and USB version.

The PXI plug-in card can be utilised in a CompactPCI™- or in PXI™ system and the USB module can be utilised as plug-in card in a USB rack system.

Application

  • general test and measurement systems
  • end of Line Test
  • automation engineering
  • industrial electronics

Series 4011

The modules from series 4011 allow incremental encoder simulation for End-of-Line tests. The cards have four channels and three tracks per channel.

Furthermore, the user part is galvanically isolated from the PXI part (therefore not grounded). With a voltage range between 5 to 30 V and a frequency of up to 200 kHz, PXI 4011 supports the PXI trigger line and, additionally, has an external trigger input per channel.

The PXI plug-in card can be utilised in a CompactPCI™- or in PXI™ system and the USB module can be utilised as plug-in card in a USB rack system.
