Commissioning of prototypes
Do you repeatedly experience problems when commissioning your prototypes?
The increasing shortage of skilled workers combined with time sensitive deadlines mean that almost no developer can afford to waste time when validating prototypes.
Often firmware for the new board design is not ready or simply not yet error-free. We will show you how you can quickly check your hardware for soldering and assembly errors, and save an average of two weeks per project on troubleshooting.
Pin-level fault diagnosis
You have a faulty electronics assembly – how quickly can you find the root cause?
To check whether a board is functioning correctly, a functional or end-of-line test is usually implemented at the end of the production line. The aim is not to find failures, but to ensure that there aren’t any. This is because if the failure is found here, it is usually expensive and very time-consuming to repair. We will show you how to locate a hardware failure with pin-level accuracy in just a few seconds.
With ever-increasing amounts of data and rising costs for test and programming fixtures, it makes sense to combine electrical testing with programming. The latter is, of course, only carried out after a PASS test, and a combined test and programming station is desirable.
Efficient prototype commissioning with the SCANFLEX Board Grabber
Do you often wish you had a third hand? Universal board fixture with the option to hold manually placed probes.
Particularly when validating prototypes or testing small lots of boards, a bed-of-nail adapter is often not available for cost reasons. Our Board Grabber can solve this problem effectively.
The electrical test with the JTAG/Boundary Scan
HANZA Beyers GmbH is a medium-sized contract manufacturer, based in Mönchengladbach. The company works on behalf of OEM customers from the telecommunications , medical and building technology sectors. Challenge
- in some cases customers require an error tolerance of <1%
- difficult testability due to high use of BGA and missing test points
- supplement to In-Circuit Test necessary
- compliance with Cycle rates
