Embedded World 2019: Automotive Test Solutions & Embedded JTAG Solutions
Test Instruments from the Cloud // SCANFLEX II // Automotive Communication Controller
The embedded community will gather from 26 to 28 February in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg. GÖPEL electronic will present the latest developments in the field of Embedded JTAG Solutions as well as Automotive Test Solutions at booth 271, hall 4.
The focus is on a new way of using FPGAs as integrated test centers. These test instruments are automatically generated from a cloud and loaded into the FPGA. ChipVORX SI (Synthetic Instruments) allows easy configuration instead of complex programming. With this technology, the user can perform powerful functions such as real-time DDR-RAM tests, stress tests of LAN interfaces or frequency measurements.
The powerful SCANFLEX II controller will be shown for validation and prototype testing as well as programming of embedded electronics. The hardware platform uses the logic of DUT circuits to test and program complex boards with greatly reduced physical access. Due to its multifunctional architecture, SCANFLEX II Cube offers numerous application possibilities.
The latest generation of multibus communication controllers, the Series 62, is aimed specifically at embedded electronics in the automotive sector. The new architecture offers the user up to 18 independent bus interfaces for CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet and LIN, resulting in numerous configuration and application options for optimum adaptation to the DUT or the test task. For infotainment tests, the new Video Dragon presents itself as a frame generator and frame grabber for testing high-speed LVDS connections. This is used for quality assurance of cameras and sensors as well as displays in automobiles.
