Process Data Analysis
The Test process analysis tool is a software for the statistical analysis of test processes and results.
Measurement data generated by a test system is collected, evaluated and statistically analysed. The parameters determined can be used to evaluate the production or test process.
For example, it is possible to determine deviations from the mean value of the target tolerence range in order to make corrections in production if necessary or to check or to calibrate the test system.
The relation between the tolerance range and the spread of measured values is used to estimate the process capability. The examined objects are electronic assemblies, such as control units in automotive engineering or other electronic components, whose testing produces statistically assessable values.
