New offline programming software for AXI systems
Information Center and Radiation exposure
In the field of AXI, GÖPEL electronic will present the new version 4.2 of the offline programming software PILOT AXI at productronica 2021. The software is used to create inspection programs for the AXI X-ray systems.
The new version appears in the "flat design" and is now also multi-monitor capable. This allows users to freely arrange content on multiple screens and store it in the user profile. This increases the clarity and helps to have the most important setting parameters always in view. In addition, the programming software has a new Information Center. It displays the most important information about the test program to the programmer. In addition to a personalized comment function with time stamp (e.g. for shift transfers), a change log and extended search functions, a freely expandable to-do list is now also available. The list also helps when work on a program is interrupted. It also gives information on the test coverage and the radiation exposure of the components. From the Information Center it is also possible to monitor all GÖPEL electronic AXI systems on the network and directly load and debug the test program executed on the machine.
The operation of the virtual execution of an inspection program without an X-ray system has also been further improved. In addition, there is now the option of being able to display further information as a list or diagram. For example, oblique 2.5D projections can be displayed as a list and measured values as histograms. The new version 4.2 also supports the import of AGILENT 5DX inspection programs as well as the import of Namkang ePM-AOI / ePM-SPI data, which has been adapted for third-party AOI/SPI manufacturers.
