The stress and trigger module basicCAN6153.STM for CAN FD has been extended. The module can specifically manipulate CAN/CAN-FD communication and thus enables precise protocol tests. basicCAN6153.STM is an extended option of the communication controller series 61. The stress and trigger module can specifically interfere with CAN/CAN FD messages. It has both a trigger input and a trigger output via which external resources can be controlled. In the latest version, the fault list can be configured automatically. In addition, the module has extended trigger options (CRC delimiter, ESI, Stuff Bit Counter, Start of Frame, Error Frame). Furthermore, the communication in the area of the Stuff Bit Counter can now also be disturbed.
The disturbing functions for CAN FD as well as for the standard CAN protocol are supported by basicCAN6153.STM on one of the four configurable ports. Ethernet is available to the user as a host interface; alternatively PXI, PCI and USB are offered. The parameters are set via the proven GOEPEL electronic API, so that the module can be integrated into user-specific solutions.
