New Multi Line ‘Inverter Series’ for inverters

High components up to 140 mm, workpiece carriers up to 15 kg, assemblies on huge boards: power electronics - be it inverters, rectifiers or control systems for high voltages and currents – present special challenges for AOI. The demand for such assemblies is increasing rapidly worldwide - and with good reason: more and more technologies are requesting smart control and reliable conversion of electrical power. 

The new Multi Line ‘Inverter Series’ AOI platform is specially adapted to the particular challenges of inverter production. ‘Inverter Series’ is based on the proven AOI system THT-Line, which ensures quality and safety in numerous production lines around the world hundreds of times over. 

• Inverter-ready: Inspection height up to 80 mm, component clearance up to 140 mm, resolution up to 15 µm per pixel,
• Double-sided inspection of inverter assemblies: also, during the return of the assemblies, with and without workpiece carriers, up to 15 kg
• ‘Reflex Reducer’ eliminates interfering reflection and gloss effects on solder joints of the inverters and increases the reliability and data quality of 3D measurements
• Proven PILOT AOI inspection software: high ease of use and seamless fault detection thanks to various inspection methods. The powerful MagicClick tool generates a production-ready inspection programme including a component library in just a few minutes without the need for a library entry
