Intelligent assistance for error classification

The AI advisor software module as an extension of the PILOT Verify repair station software supports the operator in the post-classification of detected faults from AOI or AXI systems at verification and repair stations. The AI advisor provides an assistance function that allows an AI to make its own decision for each fault that requires an operator decision. If the AI comes to a different conclusion than the human, the user is asked to reconsider his decision. If necessary, the decision of another operator or a supervisor can also be requested for this purpose.

This mechanism is intended to prevent an assembly with an actual error detected by the AOI from being subsequently declared as a pass/fail assembly.
