Multi-panel programming in Takaya Flying-Prober with integration solution

Programming of the DUT assemblies directly via the needles of the Flying Probe system

The Embedded JTAG Solutions system integration from GÖPEL electronic for the Flying Probe systems from Takaya has been extended by an additional feature. This allows programming of the DUT assemblies directly via the needles of the Flying Probe system. In addition, the solution supports sequential processing in the multipanel. This saves handling steps in the production process.

A specially designed Embedded JTAG Solutions integration package from GÖPEL electronic is used to execute programming algorithms for devices such as Flash, FPGA, CPLD, MCU or other components to be programmed. The special feature of this integration package is the connection to the Flying Probes of the Takaya APT. This means that programming is performed directly via the probes, no manual contacting is required. This means that the programming module can be integrated into a fully automated inline system with loader and unloader. Thanks to the flawless interaction of Takaya APT and GÖPEL electronic software, electronic assemblies can first be MDA tested, then programmed and finally functionally tested. This saves handling steps. Now one system performs component test, programming and function test. In addition, the solution is extremely flexible regarding software changes and the programming of dynamic data.
