Business units of GÖPEL electronic
The testing and simulation systems from this division are used primarily in the automotive and automotive supplier industry. These are, for example, modular function-testing systems and diagnostic tools for automotive ECUs or bus communication systems for a wide variety of electronic components in automotive production. Electromechanical assemblies and entire car seats are also tested to ensure they function correctly using testing systems from GÖPEL electronic.
Increasing complexity of the assemblies and reduced accessibility are the hallmarks of modern electronics. Users are presented with this problem both in the development phase and in production. The Embedded JTAG Solutions division explores new approaches for reliable, high-performance testing and programming. This is based on an alliance between three pillars of technology:
The multifunctional JTAG platform enables testing and programming of microprocessors, microchips and other highly complex components (e.g., FPGA, µBGA or CSP) using integrated boundary scan architectures. GÖPEL electronic offers a comprehensive range of hardware products and software tools for this.
The Industrial Functional Test division provides customized testing systems for industrial electronics and PLC systems. Testing can be carried out on any electronic products, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), temperature sensors or heating control systems. GÖPEL electronic develops customised solutions both for small batches and for system integration in series production.
GÖPEL electronic provides powerful and technologically high-quality systems for optical inspection of printed circuit boards. These can reveal manufacturing defects during production: for example, faulty solder joints, high-density or incorrectly positioned modules and defective components. The systems can be used at different points in the production process (e.g. before and after soldering, as in-line or stand-alone systems). The inspection solutions by GÖPEL electronic are made up of the following areas:
