The GATE program
The global program GATE (GOEPEL Associated Technical Experts) aims at providing GOEPEL electronic’s customers the latest instrumentation for the extended JTAG/Boundary Scan by means of project specific technology transfers.
“We are witnessing a transition from the classic business model of offering components towards more turnkey solutions and IP based instrumentation”, says Frank Amm, Corporate GATE Program Manager at GOEPEL electronic. “Our new cooperation program meets the needs of our customers to provide them with access to the latest options for system integration, complete with extensive application support, all backed by GOEPEL electronic.”
Key points of the GATE program are application-specific transfer of GOEPEL electronic’s unique product range of components and IP (Intellectual Property), such as SCANFLEX®, VarioCore®, VarioTAP®, and SYSTEM CASCON™, as well as the joint development of customised IP instrumentation, with the goal to ensure - among other things - the quick support of future test and emulation standards for extended JTAG/Boundary Scan applications. The program offers three different membership levels: Associated Member, Select Member, and Centre of Expertise (COE; the highest membership level, encompassing development collaborations with GOEPEL electronic).
