Network tester

This special configuration of the modular functional test system TESSY was developed for the test of CAN, LIN and K-line interface in vehicle control units. It includes functions to measure physical interface characteristics, to test communication features and to simulate transmission errors. The combination of CAN measuring technology and diagnostic functions via the K-line allows the execution of particular tests that so fare have not been possible in the laboratory.
The test ensures whether a controller transmits and receives specification-compliant data, whether it impairs communication within the vehicle environment or, in case of disturbed communication, executes uncontrolled reactions under all possible operating conditions in the vehicle.
