TAP extends GOEPEL electronic’s GATE Partner Program
GOEPEL electronic, worldwide leading vendor of JTAG/Boundary Scan solutions compliant with IEEE Std. 1149.x, announces the incorporation of the German test expert company TAP (Tietjen Automatisierte Prueftechnik) into the global alliance program GATE™ (GOEPEL Associated Technical Experts). The focus of the cooperation is the development and practical implementation of new products and modules based on JTAG/Boundary Scan instrumentation as well as enhancements in the integration of JTAG/Boundary Scan products in existing test systems.
“It was a logical consequence to incorporate TAP into our GATE program because of our long-term cooperation and successful implementation of numerous projects”, says Thomas Wenzel, Managing Director of the Boundary Scan division of the GOEPEL electronic. “By this even closer cooperation we intensify the interaction of our companies in respect of JTAG/Boundary Scan integration into ATE systems, turn-key solutions and joint projects in the future.”

TAP was incorporated into the GATE program as “Centre of Expertise“(COE), and brings perennial expert knowledge as system integrator for PXI, GPIB and LXI systems. Additionally, TAP is test house for SPEA ATE systems. In the focus of the cooperation there are integration solutions as well as joint software and hardware developments for the targeted transfer of new technologies such as SCANFLEX®, VarioTAP® and VarioCore® into extended Boundary Scan applications.
