“Get the total Coverage!” is GOEPEL electronic’s corporate philosophy. “Get the total Coverage by total Integration!” is the Company’s theme at Productronica 2009. The vendor of innovative electronic and optical test and measurement equipment will impressively demonstrate how to achieve the highest possible fault and test coverage by combining and integrating several test technologies at Stand A1.239 from 10th to 13th November. GOEPEL electronic doesn’t just provide single test solutions, it focuses on delivering integrated test solutions utilising various test methodologies ensuring customers receive maximum quality assurance.
The range of possible combinations is nearly as extensive as GOEPEL electronic’s entire product portfolio. This concerns existing and potential solutions that fuse the technologies JTAG/Boundary Scan, Automated Inspection (AOI/AXI), Functional Test, In-Circuit Test and Digital Image Processing. Among others, the combinations ICT/Boundary Scan/Functional Test, Functional Test and ICT or Boundary Scan and AOI will be demonstrated on several systems.
GOEPEL electronic will also introduce ground breaking products from its individual business units. There are several innovations in the field of Automated Inspection (AOI/AXI): double-sided in-line AOI for THT components in the OptiCon TurboLine, an integrated double-sided AOI option for the X-Ray inspection system OptiCon X-Line 3D and the new “BScan Ready” option for all AOI system from GÖPEL electronic (all inspection systems will feature a Boundary Scan integration option due to customer request). In addition to the desktop AOI system OptiCon SmartLine with integrated Haptik module for the test of control elements, an improved Lifted Leads recognition with the angled-view module “Chameleon” for layout independent fault detection at excellent image quality will be introduced.
In terms of JTAG/Boundary Scan, GOEPEL electronic will once again demonstrate that the Company continues to be the technology innovator. The brand-new SCANFLEX® controller SFX/ASL 1149-x supporting USB, LAN and PCIe and the Agilent SW migration for vector export in Agilent In-Circuit Testers are only two examples of further technological innovations. Additionally, the worldwide first Boundary Scan controlled interface module for the test of the LIN bus, widely used in the automotive industry, named BAC LIN will be introduced.
Last but not least, GOEPEL electronic will announce new members of its GATE partner program (GOEPEL Associated Technical Experts).
The highlight of the business unit Automotive Test Solutions is the unique Intelligent Programmable Multibus Controller (IPMC) PXI 6100. This is a completely new generation of high performance Automotive Communication Interfaces from the new 61xx series based on a Power PC. Furthermore, GOEPEL electronic engineers will show live applications of LVDS and FlexRay components. Benefits and unique features of the universal software suite myCAR as operation software for ECU communication and diagnosis will be demonstrated by means of application examples.
