Testprogram Generation

Test task:
The distance of a component relative to a reference borehole  on a PCB is to be determined.

1st step
"blob analyses" in the TOM Line functional library

Start

The component recognition is executed by the function “blob analyses”. With the mouse a gray frame is drawn around the respective object for marking it within the image. Now the function “blob analyses” in the TOM Line functional library is selected.
 

2nd step
insert step

The test step for recognising the component is taken over into the list of steps to be executed by selecting “insert step”.

3rd step
parameterising of the test function

The parameterising of the test function is done per double click on the test step in the test step listrun list .


4th step
„Blob analyses“

The test run is started the first time to check the settings.
The object was recognised and the function “blob analyses” provides the position of the object centre

5th step
the centre of the circle bore

Analogue to the steps one to four, a second test step is executed, which defines the centre of the circle bore also via the function “blob analyses”.


6th step
„distance two points“

Now the real measuring task is executed by the function “distance two points”. The function is selected in the library and again taken over into the test run per “insert step”.


7th step
sub pixel accurate distance determination

Again, the paramerisation of the test function “distance two points” can be carried out by double-clicking on the test step in the test step list run list .

By using the two centre coordinates, now a sub pixel accurate distance determination is done.


8th step
distance between the component and the reference borehole

Target

The run is finished and can be tested.

The function “distance two points” determines gibt zurück  the distance between the component and the reference borehole. The result value can be shown in the unit pixel or after calibration in any unit of length.
