GOEPEL electronic opens Branch Office in India
GOEPEL electronic has set up a subsidiary in India on January 1st, 2012. Addressing the increasing Indian Automotive market, the newly founded GOEPEL electronic India Pvt. Ltd. will be dealing with the distribution, installation, service and support of products and solutions for the test of vehicle control units.
GOEPEL electronic has set up a subsidiary in India on January 1st, 2012. Addressing the increasing Indian Automotive market, the newly founded GOEPEL electronic India Pvt. Ltd. will be dealing with the distribution, installation, service and support of products and solutions for the test of vehicle control units. Special emphasis is placed on the product lines Series61 (hardware) and Net2Run (software), which play a central role in in-vehicle bus communication (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST, K-Line, restbus simulation and diagnostics).
Rounding off the spectrum of products are special functional test solutions such as the test system SoundChecker for detecting structure born faults, the motor test system CARMEN or the versatile ECU tester magicCAR3.
“The decision to set up an Indian branch was a logical strategic step as we have been providing customers in India with our automotive test solutions for a couple of years”, says Ralf Kahl, International Sales Manager of GOEPEL electronic’s business unit Automotive Test Solutions. “Another critical fact to further expansion was the reason that India is one of the most promising and increasing markets for the international automobile industry.”
Sandeep Reddy Cherukupalli, future head of the subsidiary in Bangalore adds: “The double-digit growth in passenger cars and commercial vehicles, many existing contacts with OEM and supplier Companies as well as investment plans of big automotive groups were good reasons to be present in one of the future expanding markets.”
