The CION Module™/DIMM240 is a plug-in module for test of DIMM240 sockets (DDR2) with 6 CION devices. The module is based GOEPEL's custom CION ASIC ICs. The digital low cost module is serially controlled via TAP to special CION™ ASIC chips, and enables the testing of all signal and voltage supply pins of JEDEC Std. compliant DIMM240 sockets for DDR2-SDRAM.
Each DIMM240 signal pin can be independently programmed as Input, Output, bi-directional or Tri-state incl. test of GND/Power pins.
All test channels provide an increased driver current and "unstress" protection feature to avoid interface damages by extended fault currents. Furthermore the CION Module™/DIMM240 can be hot swapped.
