PCI 3080 can be used to provide multiple communication interfaces in the Automotive arena. The outstanding feature of this controller board is its capability to combine different communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, K-line, J1850 as well as digital and analogue I/O) on the same card.

The PCI 3080 is built modularly and provides up to two CAN interfaces, two serial interfaces (configurable as K-line or LIN interface) as well as an interface for the J1850 communication protocol. Transport protocols, diagnostic and various intelligent additional options (everything executed on-board) are available similarly to the CAN bus controller PCI 3052 or the LIN bus controller PCI 3072. The transceivers on the board are also arranged as SIMM modules. PCI 3080 is a unique product worldwide.
